KickHeroes End User Licence Agreement

This agreement is between you and KickHeroes. By creating an account, signing in, or using the app you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not use KickHeroes.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use KickHeroes.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account, and for keeping your phone number and access to it secure.
• You may not impersonate another player, team, referee or organiser, or create an account to evade a suspension or ban.

2. Content you post

• KickHeroes lets you post content: chat messages, your display name, your profile photo, team and tournament names, match notes and player details you enter.
• You keep ownership of what you post. You grant KickHeroes a licence to host, store and display it so the app can work.
• You are solely responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

You must not post, send, upload or share any of the following:

• Harassment, bullying, stalking or personal attacks
• Hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks or degrades people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age
• Sexual content, nudity, or sexual solicitation
• Threats of violence, doxxing, or content promoting violence or terrorism
• Content promoting self-harm, suicide or eating disorders
• Spam, scams, fraud, phishing, or unsolicited promotion
• Impersonation of any person or organisation
• Content that is illegal, or that promotes illegal activity
• Content that infringes anyone else’s rights

You must not harass, threaten, or abuse other users, whether in chat or anywhere else in the app.

4. Reporting, and what we do within 24 hours

• Every message and every player can be reported from inside the app. Press and hold any chat message to report it, or tap a player to report or block them.
• We review every report within 24 hours of receiving it.
• Where we find objectionable content, we remove that content within 24 hours and we eject the user who posted it — by suspending or permanently terminating their account, without refund and without notice.
• A message flagged by several players is hidden automatically while it waits for review.
• You can block any user at any time. A blocked user’s messages disappear from your view immediately, they can no longer reach you, and you will not receive notifications from them.
• You can also email us at kickheroes.founder@gmail.com and we will respond within 24 hours.

5. Suspension and termination

• We may remove any content and suspend or permanently terminate any account that breaks this agreement, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
• Repeat offenders are removed permanently.
• If you believe an action against your account was a mistake, email kickheroes.founder@gmail.com to appeal.

6. Tournaments, competitions and prizes

• Tournaments on KickHeroes are created and run by their organiser — a KickHeroes user, club or event host. The organiser is solely responsible for the tournament and for any prize offered.
• KickHeroes provides the software organisers use. KickHeroes does not sponsor, fund, administer or endorse tournaments, does not award prizes, and is not a party to any agreement between an organiser and a participant.
• No purchase is necessary and no entry fee is taken through the app. Winners are determined by match results, with no element of chance.
• The full official rules are in the app under Menu → Tournament Rules, and apply to every tournament.

7. Privacy

• Our handling of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
• The Global Leaderboard is optional. Your display name, profile photo and match statistics are published there — publicly, to every other user of the app — only with your agreement. You can join or leave at any time in Settings → Privacy.
• Taking part in a team, match or tournament shows your name, photo and statistics to the other people in it, so that squads and standings can be displayed.

8. No warranty, and our liability

• KickHeroes is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of match, statistic or leaderboard data.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, KickHeroes is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.
• Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement. If we make a material change we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue using the app.
